The composition and impact of photovoltaic power stations
A photovoltaic (PV) building system refers to the installation of a photovoltaic power generation system on a building. Today, Hengyuantai introduces the composition and impact of photovoltaic power stations.
Photovoltaic Modules: These are the core components of a photovoltaic power station. The quality and lifespan of these modules are key factors that affect power generation efficiency, which in turn directly impacts the revenue of the power station.
Inverter: The inverter is a critical piece of equipment for converting and transmitting power to the grid. Choosing a high-quality inverter plays an essential role in maintaining the stability of the photovoltaic power station system.
Mounting Structure: This is a special support frame designed to fix the solar panels and other related equipment. The structure and design are typically customized based on the project. Common materials include carbon steel, stainless steel, magnesium-aluminum-zinc coated steel, and aluminum alloy.
Combiner Box: This device collects multiple PV strings and connects them to the photovoltaic combiner box. The combiner box includes lightning protection functions. After collecting the current from multiple PV strings, it passes through a DC circuit breaker and outputs to the PV inverter, forming a complete photovoltaic power generation system, allowing integration with the power grid.
Cables: DC cables are typically installed outdoors and need to be resistant to sun exposure, cold, moisture, and UV rays.
